Now in pre-production on her next movie & album, Multiple Best Actress Award Winning Actress, Director, Singer, Songwriter Cali Lili aka Cali Lili Hauser is a multicultural “Island Child Wild” with a heritage spanning almost every continent, skipped several grades in school, then earned her Master’s degree at NYU on full scholarship without completing high school.
As a teenage “runaway with a scholarship” her intellectual maturity masking her youth (which aided Cali in escaping an abusive childhood home) she split time between NYC and LA entering the professional acting world while also earning degrees & working various part time jobs as an au pair, a yoga instructor, a proofreader for a law firm & an assistant at an investment bank library.
After a brief co production deal with an Academy Award winning producer, Cali’s partnership with movie icon Wings Hauser realized that Cali’s handbuilt sustainable surfshack studio needed to take a more active role in projects reflecting Cali’s concern for women’s, artists’ & LGBTQIA rights, voting rights, human rights, social & environmental wellness.
The rookie-veteran partnership blossomed, despite their multigenerational age difference when
Cali & Wings married as best friends and creative partners.
Currently working on her next film and album, Cali’s Oscars 2020 Contender indie feature:

This Female Is Not Yet Rated “
is not only innovative and timeless cinema by a 21st century actress-auteur, the film was way ahead of its time and in 2024-2025 the film was requested to screen at multiple international film festivals, and winning multiple awards.
Released just before the Covid pandemic era of social distancing, not only are two of the main characters never in the same room, speaking to each other via zoom, but the film also grapples with themes that are shockingly relevant today speaking to every issue on the world stage right now.
Cali’s version of a contemporary “Eve” character hints to an early darker iteration of the “Barbie Movie” appeal, as she inhabits the role of a more modestly budgeted “Indie Barbie” who literally “comes out of the closet” complete with a song called “Love In The Toyshop” from the soundtrack.
Cali co-stars with Wings Hauser and she made the film with an all female production crew. This production structure was instrumental in inspiring other filmmakers to follow suit.
Cali’s highly eclectic – debut album & soundtrack produced with a mixed gender and mixed orientation, music crew:
“This Female Is Not Yet Rated”
ranges from Rock to Rap, from Americana / Alt Country / Folk to Soul, Gospel, Jazz, Blues & World.
As a singer-songwriter Cali Lili ‘s eclectic music spins her own unique multicultural fusion of global & historical influences, percussive vocals & innovative lyric poetry vibe while also being compared by fans to artists as varied as Tracy Chapman, Miley Cyrus, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Whitney Houston (her later works), Stevie Nicks, Rihanna, Foo Fighters, Bob Dylan, Melissa Etheridge, Brandi Carlile, Springsteen, Kacey Musgraves, Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Robert Plant and others.
Cali sings the vocals, wrote all the lyrics & co-wrote the music with Wings Hauser. She also produced & orchestrated the album/soundtrack working with a group of highly talented musicians and Recording Engineer Reid Rice.
Cali was hired by the producers of the upcoming documentary:
“Wings Hauser
Working Class Actor”
to sing a new version of one of the songs from her debut album on camera. The recording session was filmed at the legendary “ Sunset Marquis” the famed Rock N’ Roll Hotel which houses “Nightbird Studios” an equally legendary Recording Studio in West Hollywood California. That session in Studio B with “Luis” as engineer, literally “rocked” the house complete with a sudden lightning and thunder storm.
That new music single, Cali Lili’s

will be released alongside the documentary which features footage from that session as well as movie clips from “Eve N’ God This Female Is Not Yet Rated.”
Cali Lili follows the innovative path she forged with her debut music video “Election Train” which was instrumental in helping raise global social & environmental awareness.
She is moving forward on current & upcoming projects about girl-power, LGBTQIA , interracial love, social healing, global wellness & sustainability made from her sustainable surf shack loft, handbuilt in harmony with the ocean environment, functioning as a tiny green, movie, music & publishing studio as well as a sanctuary for monarch butterflies & sealife in Venice Beach, Los Angeles California.

Cali Lili Hauser is a 2024/2025 Multiple International Best Actress Award Winner.
At first glance she is the long legged surfer girl from California, blonde hair and green eyes, just landing off a wave on the beach in Venice, but Cali Lili holds your gaze with a mysterious unnameable quality.
Among other unique qualities, as a 21st Century Actress, Cali is blessed with mixed multicultural, multi-racial heritage, possessing the capacity to lend voice in both American and intercultural on-camera looks, imbuing roles with a variety of authentic accents and cultural styles. Her debut album reflects this artistic range from gospel to rap / hip hop to folk, country , punk and all out Hard Rock.
As a self described “runaway with a scholarship, an island child wild” Cali earned her Master’s degree from NYU at an impossibly young age.
The education adds to Cali’s facility with complex dialogue whether it be legal or scientific terminology, philosophical, spiritual or other complex dialogue while she also strives to push the envelope on every role. One director described her this way:

As a genuine member of the LGBTQ community Cali is authentic in portrayal of lesbian and bisexual characters.
As a singer-songwriter and scholarship awarded dancer/choreographer Cali can also deliver accents to any character she plays through song and movement.
